Connie Thacker is an attorney and equity shareholder at Rhoades McKee. She concentrates her practice in the areas of complex litigated and non-litigated family law matters, including business valuations, custody, and parenting time cases throughout Western Michigan. In addition, Connie practices in the area of estate planning and she also provides assistance with corporation formations and real estate transactions. She is a trained and certified mediator of family law cases and certified in domestic violence screening.
Connie is a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a national organization of only 1,600 attorneys. The AAML serves to encourage the study and the practice of family law. Connie is one of only two women in Western Michigan who has passed the rigorous screening and credentials required by this organization. Fellows in the AAML are required to have at least ten years of experience in family law, recognition by the bench and bar for professionalism, integrity, continued legal education, publication requirements, a proven practice consistent with advancement of family law, successful completion of an interview, and the passing of a lengthy written examination.
