Mary L. Tabin
Mary graduated, magna cum laude, from
Hope College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Political Science. She received her law degree, magna
cum laude, from Valparaiso School of Law in 1998, where
she was also on Law Review.
As a shareholder with Rhoades McKee, Mary's practice combines both business counseling and complex commercial litigation. Particular areas of expertise include employment, labor law and tax controversy disputes. She represents both public and private sector employers. She regularly counsels clients regarding wage and hour, FMLA, wrongful discharge claims, litigation and employment risk-management, discrimination and harassment complaints, COBRA compliance, and day-to-day labor and human resources management.
Mary is a member of the Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Associations. She is involved in a number of community activities, and is an active member of the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs, of which she has been the past President and board member.
