Mary is a shareholder and enjoys practicing in the firm’s Employment practice group. She has special expertise in wage and hour practices, audits and compliance. She regularly counsels both public and private employers regarding wage and hour, FMLA, ADA, wrongful discharge claims, litigation, and employment risk management, discrimination and harassment complaints, COBRA compliance and other day-to-day personnel concerns. Her practice also includes EEOC/MDCR complaints and procedures, MIOSHA/OSHA regulations and policy development, DOT regulation, FLSA and Affirmative Action Plans.
Her practice combines both counseling and complex litigation and, as a member of the Health Care practice group, she also has special expertise in human resource management within the health care field.
Mary is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the state of Michigan, as well as in the Sixth Circuit of United States Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
