Thomas L. Saxe
Thomas L. Saxe is a lifetime West
Michigan resident, although he admits to being born in
Indiana and educated at Michigan State University (B.A.
1978) and the University of Detroit School of Law (J.D.
1981). After Law school, Tom clerked for the Honorable
Robert B. Burns in the Michigan Court of Appeals.
The
largest areas of Tom’s practice have been family law
and construction litigation. He was elected Chairperson
of the Family Law Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association
in 1998. In construction litigation, he enjoys a statewide
reputation for his construction lien and bond claim work.
Tom is active in both the State
Bar of Michigan, where he is a Fellow in the State Bar
Foundation, and the Grand Rapids Bar Association, where
he has served on a number of committees.
