Emily A. Green
Emily graduated from Michigan State
University in 2001 where she received her Bachelor of
Science degree in Environmental Policy with high honors.
In 2005, she received her law degree from Wayne State
University and also graduated magna cum laude from Vermont
Law School with a Masters of Studies in Environmental
Law.
While in school, Emily was the reviewing
editor for the Journal of Law in Society and president
of the Environmental Law Society. She also interned for
the Environmental Protection Agency working in Regional
Enforcement and Compliance and drafted regulations under
the Clean Air Act for the National Vehicle and Fuels
Emissions Laboratory.
She is published in the area of
Brownfield Redevelopment and received the Ira J. Spoon
award for best urban redevelopment paper from Wayne State
University.
An associate with Rhoades McKee,
Emily concentrates her practice in the areas of environmental
and real estate law. She is a member of the Environmental
Law Sections of the American Bar Association, the Michigan
Bar, and the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
