Mark E. Fatum

Born March 28, 1960; admitted to bar, 1985, Michigan. Education: University of Notre Dame (B.A. Government, 1982); St. Louis University School of Law (J.D., 1985). Mark’s experience includes numerous jury trials to verdict in all areas of his specialization. He has extensive experience in motion practice, expert consultation, depositions and mediations.

Mark has represented numerous physicians in the professional liability actions, including those engaged in emergency medicine, family practice, general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, internal medicine, neurology, anesthesiology, nephrology, obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics and radiology.

Mark has served as a director or trustee of numerous bar related and other not for profit organizations including the Notre Dame Club of Grand Rapids, Junior Achievement, Camp Fire Boys and Girls of America and the Kent County Habitat for Humanity, Special Cabinet for Development. He has also served as a Trustee and Chairman of the Admissions Committee for the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
